It’s a program directed towards teens and young adults (ages 14-20) with an interest in law enforcement as a future job. They are part of the Boyscouts of America although its more like the Venture Scouts because the Explorers Program allows females to join and fully participate. The program is a stepping stone in the right path for a career in a Law Enforcement related field because the advisors are Certified police officers, deputies, CSI’s, dispatch, and anyother related field you can think of. The Madison Explorers are of to a GREAT start for when they start doing compititions around the state with othere Posts. They just need the support of their local community.
