Traffic stop leads to DRUG ARREST

On Friday June 15, 2012, Sgt. Chris Cooks conducted a traffic stop on a 1978 maroon Chevy for a traffic infraction. Sgt. Cooks made contact with the driver Demarcus Robinson, whom advised Sgt. Cooks that he did not have a valid driver’s license. Upon further investigation, Sgt. Cooks noticed that the tag on the vehicle did not match the registration. Sgt. Cooks asked Robinson for consent to search the vehicle. At this time, Robinson made a spontaneous statement to Cooks that marijuana was inside the vehicle. As a result of a probable cause search, Sgt. Cooks located 23.9 grams of Marijuana inside the vehicle. At this time, the driver Demarcus Robinson and passenger Eric Ealy were placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana more than 20 grams. Both subjects were transported to the Madison County Jail.
Arrested and charged :

Demarcus Robinson of Madison : 1 count of Possession of Marijuana more the 20 grams , 1 count of Driving while license suspended and 1 count Attaching tag not assigned.

Eric Ealy of Madison : 1 count of Possession of Marijuana more than 20 grams


Good job cops show little biased compassion for the NA sayings
I am amazed at the amount of drugs being taken off our streets by local law enforcement.

You keep posting the news “As it actually happened” and it’s the same story over and over again and we make a comment noting that fact and you CENSOR it because it draws attention to it as being predominately one race!
