  1. John Aust says:

It seems to me that the commission could postpone their meeting for a little while to give the Gov. some time to pick a representative for us. I realize the budget is time sensitive, but I don’t want a budget shoved down my throat by at least two commissioners I don’t trust. Doesn’t the Constitution guarantee all of us representation? Oh, I forgot. It only applies when certain individuals want it to.

  2. John Boy says:

Is that how America works now? Right and fair in the same sentence thats crazy talk. Oh wait you said try. I agree with you, District 4 needs representation.

  3. knottypine says:

John , I agree with your position but who knows how long it will take the governor to appoint someone & the commissioners have limited time to formulate a budget for next fiscal year . Look how long it took to appoint to the school board position .

  4. John Aust says:

knottypine. I understand parlamentary procedure well. However, under present circumstances I feel the regular meeting should be postponed until a commisioner for our district is appointed. I don’t want the few dictating what’s good for us. I’m sure everyone, or most, in any other district would feel the same. Let’s try to do what’s right and fair to all.

  5. knottypine says:

John , from a parliamentary perspective there is a quorum .

  6. John Aust says:

I’d like to know how you can have a meeting when the residents of district 4 have no representation?
