MCSO-Escape Update

News Release (August 13, 2012)

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that the Sheriff’s Office has received information concerning
several possible locations of Frederick Antwon McCray; however each has proved to be unsuccessful with
locating him.

Frederick Antwon McCray escaped from the Madison County Jail on Friday the 10th day of august 2012 at 6:08
AM. McCray was incarcerated on May 8, 2012 at the Madison County Jail for charges relating to Criminal
Mischief, Burglary, Loitering, resisting arrest without violence and violation of probation.

McCray has not previously presented violent tendencies However, Sheriff Stewart recommends all persons
to use caution and immediately contact the Sheriff’s Office if they come in contact with McCray or have any
information concerning his whereabouts.

The Sheriff’s Office is offering a $1,000.00 reward for information which leads to the arrest of Frederick
Antwon McCray and can be contacted at 850-973-4001 or Crime stoppers at 850-973-2762.

    Yeah but it is always possible that he skipped town to avoid being seen by locals. I would guess if they added some zeroes to the that reward amount the bounty hunter spirit would thrive in Madison.

    What troubles me is that a member or members of the community are sheltering this guy .
