News Release (November 15, 2012)
Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Wednesday the 7th day of November 2012 the Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force conducted an educational program to include a live Canine demonstration at the Central School for the 3k classes.
The theme for the demo was “DRUGS ARE BAD”. The 3-k Students and teachers were educated in what to do if they see drugs or guns. The program discussed how and why the Sheriff’s Office utilizes Canines to track lost or missing children, search for drugs and apprehend criminals.
The program included live training of K-9 Max as he located hidden drugs and demonstrated his ability apprehend a criminal. There were a total of 4 classes that participated in the program.

So if they took one of the drug dogs and walked down the interstate (when traffic is stopped after a wreck or something) I wonder how many cars he would pick up a scent on?
“Drugs are Bad” ………… Simple and understandable by 4 -5 year old children! ….. UmmK.
