What Is Happening To Our Country?
Am I the only person who’s fed up with what’s happening in our country? Where the hell is the outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder! We have a gang of tax cheating, clueless leftists trying to steer our country over a cliff, Our Law makers can’t run a cash-for-clunkers program without losing $26 billion of we taxpayers money. Everyone seems to sit around and nod their heads when politicians say, “trust me, the economy is getting better’.
Better? You’ve got to be kidding me. This is America, not some third world country. I hardly recognize my country anymore. Our business leaders are no longer the innovators; they’re the guys being held in handcuffs. We’re fiddling around in Afghanistan because we no longer have any Chesty Pullers, Blood and Guts Patton’s, Bull Halsey’s, and no more Curtis LeMay’s. Iran is completing their nuclear bombs and missiles and no one seems to know what to do about it, or care. We’re too busy walking around in a daze with a Chinese made phone in our hands making hundreds of friends we don’t know and never will. Our national treasury is in the hands of Red China and what monetary reserves left in America is being run by George Soros. That’s not the promise of the America my great great great grandparents traveled across the ocean for.
So here is where we stand today.
We’re immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning, however, we’re going to cut and run in 2014. Our enemies are waiting and playing us like a fiddle “Our military must get permission before killing those laying IED’s and, our soldiers and Ambassadors are dying.
We’re running the biggest deficit in the history of the world, and it’s getting worse every day! We’ve lost the manufacturing edge to Asia, while health care costs, and Government control are slaughtering our once-great companies. Gas prices are going higher again over .20 cents this week alone, and nobody in power has any plans on drilling for oil in order to solve the problem. This country has the largest oil reserves in the WORLD, and we can’t drill for oil because the environmentalists have bought our politicians. Our schools are a complete disaster because of the teachers union. Our borders are like sieves and our Government wants to give illegal’s amnesty and free healthcare. The small business owners are being squeezed to death every day.
These are times that cry out for real leadership. But when you look around, you’ve got to ask: ‘Where have all the leaders gone?’ Where are the creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, and common sense? Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security other than making us take our shoes off at airports and dump our shampoo. We’ve spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened. All it really takes is a phone call to NICKS or our own Florida FDLE. If you can’t pass a background test to purchase a Firearm, you can’t fly how easy is that? Law abiding citizens have no problems flying, and criminals do.
Everyone seems to be hunkering down, hoping the government will make it better for him or her. Ladies and Gentlemen, I have three words for you, “Deal with life”. Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when ‘The Big Three’ referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more importantly, look what Obama has done about it! Absolutely nothing. It’s difficult believing some upstart Kenyan born Luo Tribesman American hater would know what to do in saving our country anyway. Name me any other government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debt, solve the energy crisis, or manage the health care problem.
I’m not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I’m trying to light a fire. I’m speaking out because I have hope – I believe in America the country I have fought for and love. In my lifetime, I’ve had the privilege of living through some of America ‘s greatest moments. I’ve also experienced some of our worst crises: ‘World War II,’ the ‘Korean War,’ the ‘Kennedy Assassination,’ the ‘Vietnam War,’ the 1970′s oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years since 9/11.
Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sewn will never be uprooted. Give us the child for eight years, and it will be a Bolshevik forever. Vladimir Ilich Ulyanov better known to us as Lenin penned these words. Is this where we’re going?
Obama and his socialist followers won, I just hope they’re not in power long enough to completely corrupt our once great nation.

What Mr. George has done here is simply reposted a right leaning misleading email that made the rounds of the Internet back in 2010 and may go back to even 2009. Something we all should do is to never take at face value that any email that is circulating the Internet is true. I tend to find that most are false but are built on only a sliver of the truth just to make them seem true. And this is a fine example of what I’m talking about. I have made it a habit of checking each one of these I receive and sending out the correct information not only back to the person who sent the email to me but also to the other recipients of the email when possible. It’s not difficult for people to do this all-on their own. Thanks to fact-checking websites and the ease of doing a google search anyone can check out what is for real and what’s not. Factcheck.org, Snopes.com, and TruthOrFiction.com are just a few websites that have or can debunk an email or even “letters to the editors”. Many have a search engine on their site and by copying and pasting either the entire email or a portion of the email will often result in an answer as to whether the email or statement is truthful, false or bit a mix. Googling a portion can also give you results that may lead you to a website that is one of these fact checking organization. I have also seen emails that will go so far as to make a bold or outrageous statement then tell you it’s been proven true by one of these fact check sites and attach a link as being the proof on that site. Most people won’t even click on the link to check it out. Either folks are too lazy to check or assume it is correct or perhaps just hoping that it’s true needing no real evidence. Each time I click their link I find just the opposite of what they want you to believe.

Also you have to realize, in the next 2 decades, Technology will replace many factory workers, and humanity as a whole does not realize this and work toward a society where the corporations do not rule as they do now, the whole social frabic will change for the worse for everyone but the corporations and their shareholders.
I must say that I find it mildly amusing when the progressives must resort to parroting pop culture when faced with that which they either cannot understand, or feel in adequate to properly engage. The United States is becoming the first “post-industrial” nation on the globe. All great empires eventually become fat, lazy, and squander the wealth their forefathers left them. The pace at which America is accomplishing this squander is amazing. It was America that accomplished the industrial revolution. It was America that showed the world how to mass-produce from automobiles, to televisions, to airplanes. It was the great American manufacturing base that crushed Germany and Japan in World War II.
Today, we are witnessing the gutting of America. Thousands of factories have left the United States in the last four years alone. Millions of manufacturing jobs have been lost in the same time period. The United States has become a nation that consumes everything in sight and yet produces little. Do you know what our biggest export is today? Paper, waste paper at that. Trash is the number one product that we ship to the rest of the world. The United States has become bloated and spoiled and our economy is just a shadow of what it once was.
America could out-produce the rest of the world combined. Today? No way, but Americans do consume more than anyone else in the world. If the de-industrialization of America continues at this current pace, what possible kind of a future are we going to be leaving our children?
All great nations must be good at making things. So if the United States continues to allow its manufacturing base to erode how in the world can we continue being a great nation? We have created the biggest debt in the history of the world in an effort to maintain a high standard of living, but the current state of affairs is not anywhere near sustainable. Every single month America goes further into debt and every single month America gets poorer. So what happens when the debt bubble pops?
The gutting of the United States should be a top concern for every man, woman and child in the country. But sadly, most Americans have no idea what is going on around them.
The following are true facts about the gutting of America that will blow your mind….
#1 The United States has lost 42,400 factories since 2001. 75 percent of those factories employed 500 or more people, well, that is when they were still in operation.
#2 Dell Inc., one of America’s largest manufacturers of computers, has announced plans to expand its operations in China by the investing of over $100 billion.
#3 Dell started closing its last U.S. manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem North Carolina in November. Approximately 900 jobs will be lost.
#4 In 2008, 1.2 billion cellphones were sold worldwide. So how many of them were manufactured inside the United States? Zero.
#5 According to a new study conducted by the Economic Policy Institute, if the U.S. trade deficit with China continues to increase at its current rate, the U.S. economy will lose over half a million jobs this year alone.
#6 At the end of July, the U.S. trade deficit with China rose 18 percent compared to the same time period a year ago.
#7 The United States has lost about 5.5 million manufacturing jobs since October 2000.
#8 According to Tax Notes, between 1999 and 2008 employment at the foreign affiliates of U.S. parent companies increased 30 percent to 10.1 million. During that exact same time period, U.S. employment at American multinational corporations, declined 8 percent to 21.1 million.
#9 In 1959, manufacturing represented 28 percent of U.S. economic output. In 2008, it represented 11.5 percent only.
#10 Ford Motor Company recently announced the closure of a factory that produces the Ford Ranger in St. Paul, Minnesota. Approximately 750 jobs are going to be lost because Ford can no longer compete in the global manufacturing strategy due to Union demands.
#11 As of the end of 2009, less than 12 million Americans worked in manufacturing. The last time less than 12 million Americans were employed in manufacturing was in 1941.
#12 Today in the United States, consumption accounts for 70 percent of GDP. Of this 70 percent, over half is spent on services.

#14 In 2001, the United States ranked fourth in the world in per capita broadband Internet use. Today it ranks 15th.
#15 Manufacturing employment in the U.S. computer industry is actually lower in 2010 than it was in 1975.
#16 Printed circuit boards are used in tens of thousands of different products. Asia now produces 84 percent of them worldwide.
#17 The United States spends approximately $3.90 on Chinese goods for every $1 that the Chinese spend on goods from the United States.
#18 One prominent economist is projecting that the Chinese economy will be three times larger than the U.S. economy by the year 2040.
#19 The U.S. Census Bureau says that 43.6 million Americans are now living in poverty and according to them that is the highest number of poor Americans in the 51 years that records have been kept.
So how many tens of thousands more factories do we need to lose before we do something about it? How many millions more Americans are going to become unemployed before we admit that we have a very, very serious problem on our hands?
How many more trillions of dollars are going to leave the country before we realize that we are losing wealth at a pace that is killing our economy?
How many once great manufacturing cities are going to become rotting war zones like Detroit before we understand that we are committing economic suicide?
The de-industrialization of America is a national crisis. It needs to be treated like one.
America is in deep, deep trouble folks.
All we’ve come up with is tax the rich. I remember in the 70’s and 80’s we had Boat manufacturing thorough out Florida. Clinton and his cronies decided to add a 10% tax on Yachts, so what happened? The rich stopped buying the Yachts, builders went out of business and we lost our jobs, never to come back.
We had a chance to wake up November 6th. But, Abortion, Contraceptives and Obama phones won out. God Help Us All

One of the oldest questions I had pondered my whole life was, why did Jesus have to be so horrifically tortured and killed. The conventional explanation taught by mainstream Christianity was a good start, but just didn’t adequately explain it to my satisfaction. I was thinking, ‘why couldn’t the intelligent educated people of the time understand, or at least consider the truth of what he was preaching’? Why couldn’t they discuss & debate a better understanding of the Word, and either adopt that or go their own way without subjugating others to their will? Why couldn’t his message be preserved for its own merit without the horrible path he had to take to maintain it. The answer that finally came to me; was that it was necessary to demonstrate in unmistakable terms, the extent to which selfish and blind ambition will go to protect their self-interest, and that Truth can overcome the ugliest efforts of ignorance if it is willing to persevere and confront those who desperately cling to that.
My conclusion on that, is very similar to the answer I offer to George’s question. The re-election of President Obama, and his minions like Pulosi, Reid and Greyson from Orlando, is the culmination of decades of Progressive-Statist efforts to become the controllers and arbiters of the social and economic standards of our lives. And therefore have everyone beholding to their benevolence for their collective good health or good fortune.
For all of its faults, for all of our sins of omission and commission, for all of the times we have fallen considerably short of the Glory of God; still, up until now, this country’s contribution to the world for liberty, prosperity, technology, and quality of life, far exceeds the capacity and contribution of the countries we are attempting to emulate.
What we are seeing now is our own Crucifixion; spiritually, economically, morally, and socially. If we are unable to rediscover the simple beauty of the founding principles that distinguished the “American Experiment” from every other country in the known history of the world, we are doomed to follow it into the ash bin with every other failed country that has come before. The world as well will be much worse off because of it. And who is foolish enough to suppose that God will one day, look upon us and say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
The shame of it all is this – those within Madison County who voted for Obama claim to be people of faith; I won’t dispute that. The problem is, they do not understand that Democratic party today was born from Fabian Socialism, whose roots are founded in Marxism and Hegel’s Process Philosophy. As such, they cannot understand, how it that they are casting a vote for atheism, in that although liberalism is a political ideology, all political ideologies are rest on philosophical foundations. One last nugget: the United States is NOT a democracy, and was NEVER intended to be. We are a Federal Constitutional Republic. Democract was described by John Adams as “mobocracy”, and was viewed by both Plato and Aristotle as the last step to tyranny.

Sarge & Mr. Catron , I do agree with you that the nation has made a fundamental political change with the 2012 presidential election & I do not believe it will go back to what it was . I feel the majority now wants socialism , they just have not figured out yet that it will cost us ALL alot more in taxes to fund it though I guess Benanke could order even more fiat money printed . All one has to do is look at the taxes in Europe to get an idea of what will be needed . I do feel over these issues & others yet to surface that the nation may disintegrate into another civil war . Such states as Texas , Oklahoma , Alaska & some of the intermountain west states I do not believe will tolerate the changes to come . I am seriously thinking about moving to Texas .

I am glad God allowed the 2012 Election to occur because he had to show the world that the United States talks a good game, but does not practice what it preaches. We are always telling other countries how to treat their people, but we are doing the same thing. Obama is a good example of what can be accomplished if you work hard enough to achieve it. This should be an inspriation and not a destructive device. All the people who are disappointed because Willard Mitt Romney did not become president, should look in the mirror and see what is staring back at them. God put this man in office to help us to see what can be done with our lives. The misinformed atittudes of the Republicans cause the party to suffer defeat. This is the 21st century and the good old days are gone. Get over this negative attitude and help to make the country a better place to live. Remember this from the Bible where Jesus states: How can you say you love me, whom you have not seen, and hate your brother. It’s a lie and the truth is not in you.

Dan, I’m repeating what Barrack’s Grandmother has reported. “I was with my son when his son Barrack was born” The grandmother and her son, Barrack’s sperm donor are Luo Tribesmen, there are many different tribes in Kenya, Luo being one of them.

Hey, Bubba. Obummer won 51% of the popular vote, that ain’t a lot in the real world. So now, the communist-american experiment goes on, with working folks paying for everything for everyone else. The only thing that he forgot was the statement that Nikita Khrushchev made before the U.N. in the early years of the Cold War. “America will fall without a shot being fired. 30% of registered voters in Madison County did not vote in November. Few are willing to volunteer to serve as mentors in our schools, to assist at the Caooperative Ministries food distribution, or to ring bells for the Salvation Army.
Dan Schutte’s hymn “Here I Am, Lord,” was introduced to the congregation at Madison First United Methodist Church by Rev. Nick Godun. It includes the words “Whom shall I send? Is it I, Lord? I heard you calling in the night. I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.”
There are many opportunities afforded us to be gppd citizens. The Athenian Oath continues to provide guidance: “We will never bring disgrace on this our City by an act of dishonesty or cowardice. We will fight for the ideal and Sacred Things of the City’s laws, and will do our best to incite a like reverence and respect in those above who are prone to annul them or set them at naught. We will strive increasingly to quicken the public’s sense of civic duty. Thus, in all these ways we will transmit this City, not less, but greater and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us.”
These words are not empty rhetoric; they are a challenge to us We can adopt a servant attitude to each other and work to resolve the problems which exist. United we can succeed.
