Trudy Lucille Morris, 71, of Greenville, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Heritage Health Care in Tallahassee. Lucille was born March 16, 1941 in Soperton, Ga, to Jordan and Minnie (McDaniel) Foskey. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents Jordan and Minnie Foskey, her husband Lloyd“Pee Wee” Morris and her son James “Gator” Morris.

Mrs. Morris was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Shady Grove, Fl.

She is survived by her granddaughter LeAnn Shreve of Perry, Fl., grandson Zachary Morris of Perry, Fl., granddaughter Rebecca Morris, and grandson Michael Morris both of Eridu; sister Lorene Hampton, Wacissa, Fl., a brother Jack Foskey of Tallahassee, Fl.; and one great grandson Cayden Shreve, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in Perry. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Shady Grove,Fl. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home.
