Take off your camouflage and turn off the fish fryer! The new Rural Area Theater is here to spread some culture to Madison.
The local actors of the RATT pact, Inc. now have their own theater. Dr. Jessica Webb and Judie Baldwin, founders of the RATT Pact, held the grand opening of their new theater at 196 South Range Street on Friday afternoon, March 12th.
Inside is a two-level stage with a room full of seats. Many seats have the names of donators who helped fund this adventure. Soft spotlighting sets the mood in the room. It has a real mini-Broadway feel.
Pictured below is Cindy Vees (center) with Dr. Jessica Webb (left) and Judie Baldwin (right). Cindy was the first person to become a “Shining Star” and have her name on theater chairs.
Tickets are now on sale for “Steel Magnolias” March 25-28 shows. To find out more about the tickets and the RATT Pact, go to the website at http://www.rattpact.com/ or call 850-673-9585.
Limited seating available. Reservations required.

It’s fairly sad that this excited me. On the bright side, the title made me giggle.
