Baseball and BBQ Sunday at NFCC

Baseball and BBQ will be in full swing at NFCC this Sunday; August 1st.
In the first game the Georgia Starz vs South  Georgia Diamondbacks at 1:30 p.m.
 
 
 
Game Two  features theNorth Florida Rebels vs  the Valdosta Dodgers at 4:00pm.
 
These games are 7 innings each and will usually last about 2 hours. The Rebels hope to gain momentum with a large crowd in the stands.  Refreshments and good BBQ will be provided by JW’s Smokehouse Grill.
 
 The league tournament will be played August 21st at Madison County High School and NFCC Games begin at 9am that Saturday morning and the championship game will be played that evening at 7 p.m. under the lights at Madison County High School. This will be the first annual Men’s Adult Baseball  League tournament played in Madison, Florida.
 
The North Florida Men’s Adult Baseball League requests that if anyone is interested in preparing a cake auction and/or pie sale for giving the profits/donations to the new Senior Citizens Center of Madison, contact them as soon as possible. North Florida MABL looks forward to being able to provide assistance with these fundings where needed.   1. Rebels stood out to play 1:30pm game today being that afternoon rain showers could have cancelled game. The first game Diamondbacks vs Georgia Starz was played in Brooks County, Georgia. The North Florida Rebels played the 1:30 game and won 13-6. It was an exciting game and the BBQ was excellent. Next Sunday the North Florida Rebels vs Moody Blue Bombers at NFCC gametime looking to be played at 4pm. Afternoon rainshowers may push us to play a 1:30 gametime. Update of gametime will be given
